An initial road test of your car is carried out to see if there are any noticeable abnormalities. Your car’s air conditioning is checked at this time too.

Tension & condition checks on alternator, air con and power steering belts & the oil filter is replaced.
Your fluid levels are checked.
Your brakes are given a full inspection and their fluid levels checked.
Steering and suspension components are also checked for damage and leaks.
Your tyres are given a full inspection to check their condition, tread and age.
Your battery is inspected and accessed if it is in working order.
Your exhaust mounting point & heat shields are inspected for corrosion, damage or leaks.
The condition of your car’s windscreen wipers and their operations are checked to make sure you can clean your windscreen whenever it’s needed. Your car’s bonnet catch is also checked.
